Many thanks to Tom Dowling who identified people in photos 1, 4, 5 and 6.   Tom (Toddy) is the son of Thos Dowling from Grangecon and Margaret Dowling nee Phillips who was born and reared in the Annalecky Inn.  Tom (Toddy) and his sister Marie were also reared in the Inn.  His great grandparents Thomas and Judith Clarke came from Lacken and set up business there when it ceased to be a Toll house.

Thanks to Brendan Neville for identifying J.J. Fogarty (Brendan’s uncle whose mother was Patricia Perkins) in photo 4.  Brendan is the son of Mary ‘barney’ Neville nee Perkins.

1957 L-R Din Perkins, Mick Perkins, Joe Perkins, Jim Perkins and Des Fisher from Merginstown. The Perkins lived across the road from the Annalecky Inn.
